The Legacy and Life of Ayanna King

Mrs. Ayanna Jonell King Coulibaly was born on February 12, 1983 to Ms. Rosa L. King

and Mr. Joseph Ashford. She was educated through the Philadelphia School District and

graduated from Crooked Places Made Straight Private Christian Academy. She was a

wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend. More importanlty, she

was an adamant prayer warrior who was blessed and highly favored. Full of the Holy

Spirit and filled with the fruit of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). During her

lifetime, Ayanna (Yani) had a fond love for music and pursued her dreams by engaging

in various music performances. Yani was a beautiful songstress that would uplift others

through her gift of singing.

She devoted her time to being a devoted wife and mother, taking time to care for others;

helping the sick and disabled all while preaching the precious name of Yahweh Yahshua.

Yani was a fierce and powerful woman of God holding steadfast to the faith until her

Earthly transition receiving her crown of life on May 6, 2026 (Revelations 2:10).

Ayanna is survived by her husband Youssouf Coulibaly and her sons Idriss Coulibaly,

Abisha Coulibably (who preceded her in death), and Ace Coulibaly (who preceded her in

death). She is also survived by her mother Rosa L. King, her father Joseph Ashford (who

preceded her in death), her siblings: Hanniel King, Timothy King, Samuel King, Antonio

Burrelle, Darnell Chance, her nieces: Kalliyah, Kayla, Amani, Jhene, her grandmother

Mrs. Valerie M. King (who preceded her in death), her grandfather Mr. Ernest L. Griffin

(who preceded her in death), and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and

friends. Ayanna leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love, grace, regalness, and an

unwavering faith in the Lord!
