To the late Edgar Neil and Rosemarie Johnson
D.J. as he is affectionately known was educated in the Public School System attending Thomas Miffin Elementary and Roxborough High School
D.J. accepted the Lord as his savior at a early age.
Attending Fried Stone Baptist Church Faith Canaan and House of Faith.
D.J. held various jobs throughout his life, specializing in custodial and maintenance work.
All who knew D.J. knew he wore baseball caps, sweat and matching sneakers, clean and fresh all the time.
He leaves to cherish his memories:
His son Raheem Slatin; Grandchildren: Christina, Laila, Aniyah and Raheem Slatin Jr.; Great Grands: Ahmiri Draines and Camiyah Slatin; His Grandmother Fannie Monk; Siblings: Jamil, Tracey, Tameka, Kevin (Diane), Neicy (Lester), Sylvia; Brother in Law Kilo McCarrah.
A host of Aunts, Cousins, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews: LaSha, Jamillah, David, Dagovan, Tysheem, Lamij, Kyleem, Niveka, Two special friends, Linda and Sylvia, Corey, Charita, and Aaron.
