HER LIFE STORY

On May 15, 1994, after a day of celebrating her intended arrival (baby shower) and thirty-nine hours of labor, Domonique Nate' McGhee was born to Sheree Singleton and Nathaniel McGhee, Jr. Her beauty was no surprise, and her early energy kept her mother on her toes. She was a blessing to have a first-born daughter. Domonique was the eldest of her sibling group, she was blessed to have five brothers and two sisters who relied on her wit and sisterly affection to carry them through life.

Domonique's younger siblings, Dreana, Amaree and Gabrielle remember their sister as playful and protective. She was her younger brother's "Bodique". At home, Domi-Yomi, as she was often called, would turn a quiet room into an atmosphere filled with laughter and love. Even though she had two-left feet, she loved to dance.

Domonique was educated in the Ridley School District. In 2013, Domonique graduated from Ridley High School. After garnering a great love for photography and video production she enrolled at The Art Institute of Philadelphia where she excelled in her craft. Her vision for the future was to start "Domino Danger" a production company that would produce horror movies, which she loved to watch; master producer M. Night Shyamalan was one of her favorites. In 2016 she graduated with honors and received the Outstanding Achievement Award for video production, the only one in her class. She went on to join the photography team at Life Touch Portrait Studies.

Early in life, Domonique found joy in supporting her mother's spiritual journey; often joining her mother as she attended regular church services. Domonique was a free spirit who lived life in Love. Her sharing with her family and others exemplified the gospel of Christianity.

Diamond, as she was known to her paternal family, will be remembered for her love of animals and nature. She took great joy in exploring the world. She loved to travel, so much so that she often took spontaneous trips across the country. These trips would allow her to chase her love of sunsets on the beach. Her photo library includes many shots of sunsets from various beaches. It was no secret that Domonique was her grandmother Maxine's favorite. Her grandmother played a prominent role in her growth and development often dotting on her to others at every turn.

Her memory will be forever cherished by; her mother, Sheree; her father, Nathaniel; and her father figures, Andre' Williams and Ronald Alexander; her maternal brother, Amaree Alexander; her maternal sisters, Dreanna Williams and Gabrielle Alexander, all of Eddystone, PA; her paternal brothers, James Long, Jayden McGhee, Xavier McGhee, and Porter McGhee all of Philadelphia; her grandmothers, Maxine Singleton and Shirley Solomon of Philadelphia; her grandfathers, Robert McCallum and Nathaniel McGhee, Sr.; her maternal aunts, Cynthia and Wyneda Singleton of Philadelphia; her maternal uncles; James Babb and Quinton Mays of Florida; her paternal aunts, Natkeita, Latisha, and Schanaee McGhee all of Philadelphia; her paternal uncles; Adwell, Eligha, and Dawud McGhee all of Philadelphia; a loving Godmom Kayleea Harris; Godson, Khazay White; two special friends, Christina and Candice; a host of other cousins and friends.
