In Loving Memory Elizabeth "Inez" Williams. Home going January 12, 2020 Elizabeth better known as Inez, died peacefully at the age of 95 on Sunday, January 12, 2020. She was one of eight children - Charles Melvin, Babe, Lionel, Robert, Christine and Lucille - born to Robert and Odis Williams in Monroe, Georgia.

Inez relocated to New York City in the early 1950's in order to provide a better life for her seven children - Buddy, Barry, Johnny (deceased), Bobby, Tony (deceased), Michael and Marie. During this time and throughout the 1970's, Inez became a glamorous, well-known fixture of Harlem nightlife. Some of her favorite night clubs included the Palms Cafe', Cotton Club, and Showman's Cafe'. A diva amongst divas, people took notice when Inez walked into a room!

She was also a fun, no nonsense woman who was devoted to her family. Inez is survived by numerous family members including her remaining siblings and children; as well as her grand, great-grand and great, great-grand children.

We love and miss you Inez. Sleep in peace.
