Javare' Marcellus Woods was born on August 23, 1987 to Frederick and Felecia Douglas in Philadelphia, PA. He transitioned this life on August 16, 2023, seven days before his 36th birthday.

He attended Blaine Elementary, Heston Elementary, Ethan Allen, and E. Washington Rhoades Middle School and graduated from Strawberry Mansion High School, all which are part of the School District of Philadelphia.

He attended United Cerebral Palsy, Interactive Day Program, and received many awards, such as Student of the Month. Achievement Award and Perfect Attendance, etc.

Javare' also participated in the Special Olympics Variety Club and Easter Seals. When Javare' attended his High School Prom, he was the "center of attention". He was a strong-willed person, had a passion for music, riding in the car, traveling international and enjoyed hand held sensory objects.

He is survived by his parents, Frederick and Felecia Douglas, his brother Antonio (Tiffanie), three nieces, Danijah, Alaiya, and Anor-Knoxx, two nephews, Antonio Jr. and Gianni, four aunts,

Errin (Lamont), Lucretia, Coretta, and Taria, three uncles, Eric (Murphy) Eric, and Edward, grandmother, Annie Murphy, godmother, Melanie, caregiver/Bonus brother Alain, and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, family, friends, and love ones.
