Jeffery Lee Cupitt, Sr. was born in Philadelphia, PA, on April 14, 1952, to the late James S. Cupitt Sr. and Anna Lee Cupitt.
Jeffery was educated in the Philadelphia School System, where he graduated from Dobbins High School.
Jeffery served in the U. S. Army, where he received an honorable discharge. Jeffery found economic stability at Amtrak, where he was employed for 25 years. He also worked for Victoria's Kitchen after retirement.
Jeffery accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Saviour. He joined Lovely Baptist Church, under the Pastorship of Rev. Wilbert Crew. Jeffery attended Lovely Baptist Church for many years. He sang on the Male Chorus. He was also a Trustee until his health began to fail. He started to fellowship with Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church under the Pastorship of Rev. Sozinho Alves.
Jeffery met the love of his life Yvonne Randall, and they were joined in holy matrimony on September 24, 1994. Thirty -six years of Devoted love and commitment.
Jeffery was a very competitive person when playing Pinochle. He also loved working in church and helping out anyway he could. Jeffery had a special love for his family, especially his grandchildren. They had Pop-Pop wrapped around their finger. He also enjoyed deejaying at gospel shows with his brother Howard.
He was proceeded in death by his son Chris and brother James.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories, his devoted wife Yvonne of 26 years, his children Jeffery Lee III, Jeffery Lee Jr., Aaron, Khaalis, Lasonja, and Tamika. Two special granddaughters, Ajah and Royal. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren. One brother-in law, Charles Chase, two sister-in laws, Betty Tate, Barbara Mervin, one aunt, Susan Randall and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
