Johnnie A. Key a.k.a Mr. "quiet as kept", was born on May 13, 1952 in Philadelphia, Pa. He born to the late Danford Key Sr. and Sarah Louise Key. Johnnie graduate from Gratz high School, then went on the Air force where he served as a reservist at Chanute Air Force Base in Illinois. He was an Automatic Flight Control System Specialist. He loved spending time with family and loved taking trips to Atlantic City to spend time with his brother. Johnnie also loved the Philadelphia Eagles and fishing. He was also long-time donor to St. Judes Hospital . He received a certificate at Lincoln Technical Institute in Collision Repair and Refinishing, and worked as an auto mechanic for the majority of his career at Collex Collisions. Johnnie met his beloved wife Carol Key at Carmens skating rink in 1969 they were married in 1978 and had three daughters, one of which did not live longer than one day after birth. Johnnie referred to his daughters as #1 (Aleka) and #2 (Judy). He was a very active, supportive and reliable person. Always would answer your call and would stop whatever he was doing to come to your rescue, not matter what. Whether it was to kill a spider or act as AAA he was there no matter the time, location, or weather. Johnnie will be joining a host of family members in Heaven, which includes his Mother, Father, sister Denise, Brother Danford Jr, brother Edward, and daughter Charlotte. He leaves to mourn his death his Wife Carol, daughters Judy and Aleka, sister Judy, and brother Ronald. His grandchildren Lokeil, Shakera, Brianna, Saniah, and Michael. His great-grandchildren Abriel, Myla, Summer, Asaan, and Stormi. Also, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends
