Joyce Hurt, the middle of three children to the late Clark Cooper and Beatrice Cooper, was born on May 24th, 1955. God called Joyce home with him on October 11th, 2023.

Joyce, received her education from Elkton High School. She retired from RMR Corporation. However, she worked for the Elkton Waste Water Treatment Plant for several years following her retirement.

Joyce enjoyed going for walks, shopping, eating, cleaning and watching Old Westerns.

Joyce was preceded in death by: her husband: Robert Hurt I and her brother : Jimmy Justice.

Joyce leaves to cherish her wishes: her sister: Hazel (David) Sprout; her three sons: Robert Hurt II, Michael (Tiffany) Hurt Sr. and Steven (Elvira) Hurt; four grandchildren: Kieghan Hurt, Kayleigh Hurt, Kylee Hurt, Michael Hurt Jr.; one step grandson: Rolland Briscoe and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
