Leeroy was born on August 20, 1957, to the late Herbert and Pernice Bonaparte. He received his education thru the Philadelphia School System. Leeroy had worked various jobs over the years, However He made time to help his Father (Herbert) with his Flea Market on Saturdays.

Leeroy Boneaparte met Wanda Cook in 1975, through their years together were born 5 sons. Leeroy Jr, Jamal, Anthony, Kareem and Kadeem.

Leeroy Loved to be the Life of any Party, from teasing his nieces and nephews or poking fun at anyone his nieces or sisters were dating. According to Leeroy you could not enter our family unless you paid a fee of $25.00! Leeroy loved to spend time with his Grand Children when could. Leeroy enjoyed being involved with the (Male Ministry) at his Church and other functions.

Leeroy had a large personality and even larger smile. Steven Harvey was his inspiration for his Suite Game.

Leeroy leave to cherish his memory ( Wanda Cook) 4 Sons Leeroy Cook Jr, Anthony Cook, Kareem Cook, Kadeem Cook and also Jamal Cook who preceed him in death. 4 Grandchildren ( Symire Cook, Lanya Cook, Kori Cook and Incer "No Fear" Cook. 1 Sister Joanna Smith, 1 Brother Herbert Bonaparte Jr, 1 Brother-Law William Lee Smith. A host of Nieces, Nephews 1 Aunt, Cousins, Close friends and Spiritual Brothers and Sisters.
