Leonard Sanders On Tuesday Morning, February 18, 2020, God Almighty, in His infinite wisdom, lovingly called His servant, Leonard Sanders home to rest.

Leonard Sanders was born March 19,1943 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

He was the son of the late Ermadine and Elbert Sanders.

Leonard received his education in the Philadelphia School System. Later after attending the Philadelphia School System to this union was born four Children, Yvette, Leonard Jr, Irmadine Sanders, and Barbara Miller (BooBoo).

Leonard was employed as a Forklift Driver and packager at the Philadelphia Food Distribution Center. However due to health problems, he retired.

Leonard was extremely proud of his relationship with the Lord, Jesus Christ. Every Wednesday and Sunday, you could watch him tap his feet nod his head into his joy as he praised God at the St. Mary's Ministry.

Leonard had some nicknames. He went by HoneyBoy, Lennie, and his granddaughter, Talia, calls him her Old Man, Lennie had an exceptional love and concern for people. He had an incredible heart. He was a outgoing man and always played jokes on everyone. He loved going to the gym to lift weights. His smile could brighten anyone's day, even if it was the worst day. Furthermore, he showed this by helping in the rearing of his daughter, Barbara Miller, grandchildren, Talia, Dreon, Marcus, Denzelle, and Tyrone Moore.

He leaves to cherish his Memory: his children, Yvette, Leonard, Jr., Irmadine, and Barbara; Twenty grandchildren, over fifty great-grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
