Michael's Life Story

Michael R. Primus was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on August 24 th , 1967 to Madeline Primus and Michael Primus Sr. He was raised by his mother Madeline and Father Joseph Ryland. He was educated in the Philadelphia School District system attending, L.P. Hill elementary and Strawberry Mansion High School/ Randolph and took up culinary. After High School he enlisted in the U.S. Navy where he served 8 years and was honorably discharged. Mike was awarded the Nation Defense Service Medal, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Southwest Asia Service Medal with Bronze Star, Kuwaiti Liberation Medal , Combat Action Ribbon, Navy Unit Commendation, Navy "E "Ribbon, and Sea Service Deployment Ribbon. He fell in love with the art of culinary and cooked on the U.S.S. reeves and was the head chef. Mike loved to cook for his family and come up with crazy recipes like his favorite (Ham Salad). He was an avid sports lover and enjoyed watching his Philadelphia Sports teams. He was an avid swimmer and would lifeguard at the YMCA from time to time. Mike loved his family and would make everybody laugh. He leaves behind his Father Joseph, His children Alexia( His Alex) (Son n Law Barry), Tevon, Elijah, Felicia, His siblings Crystal aka CHRISSSS(Brother n law Mike), Michael, Lonnie, Simone, Desiree, Markita , Niecy and Nette…His nieces Christina(His Tina) Kiana(His keeka), Cachet (Shay) Mella , Nisa Kayla Great Nieces Kalei and Emory Nephew D'andre , Grandkids Ace, Tevon and Lyric, A host of nieces and nephews , His Aunts Mae, Pete and Stella, Uncle Willie T , Cousins Bubba, Bilal, Pat, Tyesha, Donte, Ro, Trin Trin and His best friend Kenny. Mike was proceeded in death by his Mother (Madeline) Father( Michael SR.) baby brother(Ray Ray) and his big brother (Mike).
