Michele Celeste Fuller was a daughter, sister, Auntie, and devoted friend that left this world too soon, May 30, 2021, at the young age of 65. Michele's transition was peaceful for she battled her cancer for nearly two years and with the love and support from family and friends she showed courage to the end. Michele was born and raised in West Philadelphia to her late parents Yancey Charles Fuller and Ruth Fuller-Johnson on September 15, 1955. Michele was the youngest of three siblings: Charles, Dianna, and Gregory. Michele graduated from Merion Mercy Academy; earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Valparaiso University; and then earned her certification for Physician Assistant from Hahneman University Hospital. It was at Valparaiso University, she met colleagues that enjoyed partying, a lot, and jokingly called themselves "the Porkers"- and it stuck! In memory of her fun-loving college years, Michele began collecting pig figurines and any pig related decoration. You can't walk through Michele's home and not see a pig accessory. Michele excelled at everything she felt was a challenged. In grade school, she learned to play the piano. She played so well, she was chosen to play the church organ for Sunday Mass services at Saint Gregory Catholic Church. She learned to understand and speak French while in high school and taught herself Spanish and was able to speak the language fluently while traveling and at work in Miami. Michele had a passion for the science of medicine and loved her career helping and caring for her patients. She cultivated long-lasting relationships with those under her care. It was her retirement goal to continue to care for people living with AIDS. Michele had impeccable fashion sense. Her apparel, extensive jewelry collection, and home decor would be characterized as classic, chic, and eclectic. She was meticulous with everything acquired. Michele loved traveling. While in high school, she had the opportunity to travel to Europe. That's when the desire to experience world traveling commenced. She purchased a timeshare and wore it out! She's traveled through Europe, many Caribbean Islands, and independently traveled to Morocco. It was her plan to travel back to her beloved Greece this year. A sports enthusiast, Michele's love for the Philadelphia 76ers and Eagles was well known to many. Annually, she would purchased seasonal tickets and watch the 76ers at their home games. She continued to stay a Philadelphia teams fan after moving to Florida. Music played a major role in Michele's life. She had diverse taste. Her range included classical music to hip hop. She had a beautiful voice and an ear for perfect pitch and harmony. Michele was a no-nonsense , straight- shooter, independent, highly intelligent, brutally honest, devoted family member and friend. Michele had a strong personality. She took charge of situations and in turn, became an inspiration to many. What we all will remember is her smile. When Michele was happy her eyes twinkled and her smile was radiate. Her happiness was contagious. To know Michele, you knew her family and she became a member of yours. You were invited to her family gatherings and she was comfortable at your family events leaving a lasting impression. In her final months, love was poured into Michele by all she leaves behind- a loving family, close friends, coworkers, and classmates to keep her flame lit. Om Mani Padme Hung, Beloved!
