Nayden was born on December 30, 1966, to the late Bernard and Norma Lowry. She was educated in the Philadelphia Public School district. Nayden held several different jobs. She was a phone representative at NCO, a Cook dietician at Ambler and Rosemont Nursing home, a Teacher's Aide at the Philadelphia School district, and at the Philadelphia Zoo. Nayden loved clothes she was a fashionista. She loved Prince and all genres of music. She was a dancing machine, put some music on and she was on the dance floor all night, she is her mother's daughter. Nayden met and married Carl M. Scott on November 23, 1986, they had two children from this union.

Nayden leaves to mourn her sons Carl M. Scott jr. Drew L. Scott. Granddaughter Stormie Iona Scott, Grandson Orion Xyaire Richardson-Scott, Ex-Husband Carl M. Scott sr. sisters Roslyn Smith, Louise King, Roxanne Colella, Robin Miles (Celeste Kirby and Cheryl Rice who preceded her in death) Brothers and sister-in-law, Kenneth Lowry, Donneal and Lenora Lowry, Shawn, and Aja Lowry. Sister/cousin Shannon Deshields, Benita Brayboy, and best friend George Mitchell. 14 nieces, 12 nephews, 20 great nieces, 43 great nephews, 7 great great nieces and 3 great great nephews. A host of family and friends.
