Raymond E. Purifory was born in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Raymond Louis Purifory and Flora Mae Hopson Purifory on January 7, 1953.

He attended Thomad A. Edison High School in Philadelphia. After high school, he worked for Smith Edwards Dunlap Printing Company, and then for Watermark Logan Square East until he retired in 2016.

Raymond had a love for sports. In fact, he would easily debate you about who was the better basketball and football teams. His favorite teams being the Boston Celtics and the Washington Football team. He was a ma that spoke his mind and graciously offered his wisdom to those in need.

He leaves to cherish his memories, two sons, Damon I. Purifory, and Raymond A. Purifory. Sister and brother, Lucille Purifory and Bob Purifory, two grandchildren, Morgan and Dylan Purifory, and a host of nieces and nephews.
