IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Richard B
Thomas
September 7, 1968 – July 10, 2018
Richard Donald Bradley Thomas was born on September 7, 1968 to the late Dorian, and Joseph Thomas, Sr. of Philadelphia, PA. He was called home on Tuesday, July 10,2018 to be reunited with his parents, Dorian and Joseph Thomas Sr., and with the love of his life, and fiancee Nina Houston.
Richard grew up in West Philadelphia, and was educated in the Philadelphia Public School System. He attended Samuel H. Daroff, Austin Meehan Middle School, and Lincoln High School. He later obtained his High School Diploma from Glenn Mills School. He was Highly Intelligent, Extremely Motivated, and could always be counted on for a positive outlook.
Richard excelled in sports, especially Baseball, he was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan. He shared a passion for family, and loyal to his close friends which is apparent by the astronomical number of friends he had. Richard, or "The Brown Prince", as he often referred to himself as, was a very charismatic and flamboyant individual, who had a zeal for the finer things in life. If you knew The Brown Prince, then you knew that he was the life of the party, and when he stepped on the scene it was no question he was going was in attendance. He was Slick, and had a Grab Bag of Snappy come back. If you were not paying close attention, he would deal you one from the bottom of the deck. His vocabulary was spectacular, and if you ever heard Rich tell a story then you knew it was going to be a hilarious ending.
Richard leaves to cherish his memories; his two loving daughter, Sabirha Williams, and Rhonaee Monique Hill, both of Phila., PA; his one and only grandson, Harlem Saint Hill-Flood, whom he was overjoyed with; his siblings, Joseph Thomas Jr., of Philadelphia, PA.
