IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robert Ricardo-Eschol
Evans Iii
September 17, 1982 – January 25, 2020
Our Beloved son, "Robert R. Evans III", was tragically killed by a hit and run driver on the 5900 North Broad Street at 12:38 am on Saturday, January 25, 2020. Robert accepted his savior the Lord Jesus Christ at a young age under the pastorage of Pastor James Hall of Triumph Baptist Church and later years under Bishop K.L. Newkirk, Jr. HODMBC. He is a former boyscout, played on the church basketball team, attended Sunday school and up until this date, quoted scriptures. Robert was an awesome and intelligent son, brother, and uncle; as well as dedicated family man along with the love of his life Noel; and faithful to their child, "Alani".
Affectionately, known as BooseToose or RicRic by family. His friends' nicknames included: Rob, Tra, and/or Squeaky. As a young boy he loved to read about current events, eat, play game stations, and basketball.
He was educated in Private School, Philadelphia Public School and Parochial School Systems. He learned chess, acting, and basketball. He attended Widener University for Accounting, and Trade school for Contracting. He finally settled for a career in Contracting and eventually started his own business. Robert was a Contractor and worked for several Contracting agencies, reconstructing homes, painting, building decks, and installing home alarm systems during his lifetime.
Robert was also an avid sports fan for mainly The Philadelphia Eagles, and the Philadelphia 76ers. Our beloved son had extraordinary self-taught culinary skills. Rob played on several basketball teams in the Tri-State area. He loved clothes, sneakers, good cuisine, family gatherings, vacations, traveling, socializing with his cousins, and childhood best friends Brandon, Eric, Mel, and others.
Rob lived and loved life. To know Rob was to love him.
He will be sadly and greatly missed by all.
