Robert Jenkins (nickname BC), son of the late Charles and Elizabeth Jenkins was born on June 16, 1948, in Philadelphia, PA.  He was the youngest of six children.

Robert attended Our Lady of the Blesses Sacrament Stevenson and Benjamin Franklin High School.  Robert loved to sing with his talented voice.  Him and his brother would enter many singing contest and always won a prize or trophy.  Robert worked for SunShip Company is his early years with several other odd jobs.  On April 26, 2021 he was offered something he could not refuse, no return, a going home to unite with his family and friend that he hadn't seen in a long time.  A day of happiness and rejoicing until his heart is content.

Robert leaves his son Jamul Plathel Thompson (preceded in death), Mother, Elizabeth Jenkins (preceded in death), Father, Charles Jenkins (preceded in death) Brothers, Charles Jenkins Sr, Ernest Jenkins, James Jenkins in which they all preceded in him death.  He also leaves a legacy and sharable memory with his two sisters, Delar Jenkins Toumuene and Lular Butler and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and cousins.
