Sameer Peteie Samaj Jones was born January 17, 2005 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Mother Shantelle LeCounte and Father Darryl Dawayne Jones.  Sameer was educated in the Philadelphia School system and attended his neighborhood school John Wister Elementary and went on to receive his Middle School Education at Mastery Charter Pickett Campus and High School education at Elwyn Davidson High School.

Sameer lovingly known to many as "JuJu" loved being a kid! Juju was a loving, kindhearted person, who would help anyone in need and a joy to be around.  JuJu made it a point to check on folks and made sure everyone was good.  If you asked him to do something he would get it done with no problem and even enjoyed helping. JuJu was always a young man you could rely on.  JuJu was always fun to be around, and a loving, and caring young man.  He loved to dance to his favorite R & B and Rap music, ride bikes and being a mentor to the younger boys in the neighborhood, and his favorite pass time playing PlayStation online with his friends.  Juju's favorite foods were pepperoni pizza, cheesesteaks, and Spicy Chicken Sandwiches.  He also had a love for African and Caribbean food too.  JuJu's legacy was to "Make kids, feed his family, play his games, get a job, and make money!" Sameer was a protector of his family and a good friend to all.
