Theadius Shante Williams, affectionately known as "Shante", was born on August 6,1968 to Beatrice Williams and Omar Jackson in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

SHANTE got her education in the Philadelhia school system. In 1989, Shante migrated to North Carolina with her then two daughters. It was there that she gave birth to her baby boy, whom she loved so dearly. When Shante returned to Philly she landed a position doing what she loves to do best; working as a care provider.

SHANTE had such a big heart that she would light up a room. Anyone who came in contact with her, she consider family. Shante was free spirited. She was an open book and never stood to judge anyone. She was bold, beautiful, charming, and outspoken; her laugh and sense of humor could shake a room.

SHANTE loved her grandchildren and did not need a GPS to get around. She would take her grandchildren all over the city to join in the local festivities. Her most favorite pastime was going to the nail salon with her granddaughter Nior.

On July 5, 2019, SHANTE was called home to be with the Lord. She is survived by her mother, Beatrice Williams; two daughters Sheena (Kiyonna), and Winnie; a son, Antonio; four grandchildren, Nior, Kiyon, Denim, and Kaden; two brothers, Anthony and Gregory; a special friend and life partner, Isaac Harrison, known as Butch, and a host of aunts, uncles, and extended family.
