Obituary

The glorious Daisy Stanley-Porter the youngest child of late Sarah Doctor and Lonnie Mac Bell, was born on 10/02/1947 in Philadelphia PA. It was here that she settled and lived her life to fullest!
Daisy received her diploma from William Penn High school. She received the lord as her savior and often went to church services at Cathedral of Faith Baptist Church.
Daisy who was also known as (Tina) was a home maker, who also enjoyed painting, cooking and motherhood. Along the Journey, nearly 50 years ago, she met and married the love of her life William H. Porter. The two lovebirds spent more life together than they had adult years!
Tina loved to dance and sing. On a Saturday Night “Chillin” it was Tina, Henderson, Bump, and Barry White” Yeah, they were homies” If you knew Tina, you knew she was the life of the party. Tina always welcomed you with love and open arms (even if she just met you that’s the kind of person she was. We all knew she loved Marvin Gaye “Got To Give It Up” and Pattie Labelle “If Only You knew”. To top it off with a glass of “Bankers Gin and Colt45”! She was just smooth like that. Cool cat. On any giving day if you give her a call and she did not answer, she’s most likely, on her favorite couch, listening in on her favorite “Steve Harvey Morning Show while “watching her favorite Murray TV show” and drinking a cup of her favorite coffee “Bankers Gin”
“So call her back” “LATER”!
The family was built, the lessons were taught and the love was shared. The job here was complete. Moving on from the physical to ancestral spirit, Tina departed on 12/20/2021 to be with her late Husband William Henderson Porter, her mother Sarah Doctor, father Lonnie Mac Bell and late sibling’s, sisters Magdalene, Mary Lee Bell. Brothers- Lonnie Bell also known as (Top), Joe Louis Bell. She leaves to Greive her brother, Joseph bell known as (JB) and his wife Mattie, four sister in-laws Betty, Jill, Diane, Barby and Gina. She also leaves behind, two daughters Charlene Stanley and Nadine Bell. Her grandchildren and great grands who would always get her attention by calling her “GAMMA” . We don't know how , where or what that name came from it just STUCK!
Grandchildren, Aaron and wife Jasmeen, Mario, Tamara and husband James, Kyle, Darrin and Nadine known as (Precious) Great grands Aaron, Zykee, Devon, Jakyle, Mariah, Braylen, Kyliah, and Journey.
And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
With Love, Stanley-Porter family,
Be blessed.
