Jesse Shouse was born August 26, 1938. In Winston, Salem, North Carolina. His mother was Gladys Shouse. At age 11, he moved to New York and live with his Aunt and Uncle he was raise by them and went to public school and graduated from high school. He
From his his first marriage. He was blessed with two children, Christa and Fred. Jesse join the United States Air Force in 1957 and served till 1972 when he received the honorable discharge. He left New York after being transferred to Philadelphia from the Family planning center where he worked
In 1985 he met the love of his life Maxie Martin and they stayed together and was married 2002
Jesse work for the Philadelphia sanitation department for over 10 years and made life time friends that he kept in touch with up to his illness.
Jesse and Maxine moved in with his son-in-law Tony where he love to play with his grandchildren he would walk them to school and come back and pick them up.
Jesse was loved by many and one of his favorite pastimes‘s playing pinochle and one of his favorite partners, was the late Marguerite Gray where they would play all night and half the day. He loves going to the casino with Maxine and watching football with his brother-in-law Bernard and arguing, who best team, the Rams or the Eagles.
Jesse was an independent person. If he had somewhere to go, he would get up catch the bus and go. He didn’t like to wait on people. If he could do it his self,he did it.
He was one of the favorites of his nieces and nephews. Everybody. Loved Uncle Jesse And he loved all his children ,grand children, great grands ,nieces ,nephews, cousins and friends he will be missed by many.
