Larry Ealey was born on April 5, 1953 in Philadelphia, PA. Larry was the fourth of seven children born to the union of the late Robert H. Ealey and Isabelle Harrison.
Larry was educated in the Philadelphia School District. Larry served a brief stint in the United States Navy.
Larry held various jobs throughout his lifetime until he found his dream job at the Germantown Cab Company as a driver, trainer, then dispatcher.
Larry was fondly known for his energy as Action Jackson, quick wit, and his helping spirit. Larry was an excellent cook and you can always count on him to help with the cooking at any event. Larry would always lend a helping hand to anyone that needed his assistance. Larry was also known for his Snazzy Rap Quotes. Larry was preceded in death by his Father Robert H. Ealey, Mother Isabelle Ealey, sister Gloria F. Ealey, and brothers Raymond Ealey, Donald Dawson, Eddie Dawson and his Beloved Godson John Booker.
Larry leaves to mourn his brother, Robert T. Ealey, sisters, Barbara A. Ealey, Rosetta McLeod, Nancy Curry of South Carolina, and Margaret Ealey of New York.
Larry had a HUGE Heart and was a father figure to many especially his daughter-in-law Vernell Williams, Godsons Gene Booker, Andre Taylor, and Dwight Taylor.
Larry also played internal part as a Grandfather-like figure to over 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, Larry also leaves to mourn a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, his Germantown Cab Company family, and friends.
