Marcus’ Life Story
Marcus Andrew Eaddy Sr, 29 of Lithonia Georgia, called home to God March 28, 2024.
Marcus was born on May 8, 1994 to Sherille Eaddy and Mario Budd Sr. in Philadelphia
Pennsylvania. Marcus also known as “Marc” began his education as a student of the
Philadelphia school district. 2001 Marc continued his elementary education as a student of
Garfield East Elementary in Willingboro New Jersey. While attending Garfield East, Marc
showcased his musical talents by playing the clarinet. He also engaged in different sports
ranging from, running track, playing basketball, as well as playing safety for the Pemberton
Hornets little league team located in Brown Mills New Jersey. After returning to the
Philadelphia School District, Marc completed his secondary education as a graduate of
Overbrook High School in year 2011; a year earlier than expected! A true testament of his thirst
for knowledge, even as a child. Marc went on to obtain his commercial driver’s license,
advancing his career as a truck and semi-truck driver. Through his most recent employer he
even took on the daring task of train conductor!
It was in New Jersey spending time with his grandfather James Eaddy, Marc found his
love of sports, music and muscle cars. In his later years he took on the hobby of automobile
restoration. His most recent project, restoring a 1981 Oldsmobile Cutlass to its original glory.
Racing and “burning rubber” was two of his favorite pass times. Around 2014, Marc started to
hone in on his craft as a tattoo artist under the guidance of best friend Tez. Marc went on to
express himself through tattoo artistry for many years to come. 2019 Marc got back in to music,
he began producing beats and recording rap lyrics. He was truly a master of all crafts.
Marc fathered oldest son, Marcus Andrew Eaddy Jr. with his first love, middle school
sweet-heart Shaderea Hill. They went on to build a life in Decatur Georgia, where they
welcomed two additional sons Mason Alexander and Malik Alijah Eaddy. Later in life Marc met
La Kandra Holden and fathered his only daughter Devyn Amorie Nykkio Eaddy better known as
“his heart.” Marc was a great father and best friend to his sons. He never missed a moment of
children’s lives.
Marc was always independent, walking to the beat of his own drum. He lived a lot of life
in a short period of time. His smile was one to light up any room. He will be gravely missed by a
blended host of siblings; Tamela, Maurice, Mario Jr, Nichole, Nahshon, Jasmine, Devon and
Ajahne who called him by the nickname “Floc-o.” Floc, Reese and Bub the youngest three
brothers, called themselves the “Piranhas.” They spent their teen years chasing girls, going to
parties dancing the “Watutsie” and the “Wally.” Marc was silly enough to carry these dances in
to adult hood, to know him is to love him. To his siblings, he will always be the baby boy,
number five out of five. The “lone wolf.”
Marcus is survived by his four children Marcus, Mason, Malik and Devyn, mother
Sherille, father Mario Sr, grandfather James T. Eaddy III, grandmother Laura Gardner, eight
siblings, brother-in- law Maalik, twelve nephews, seven nieces, Pamela & Gerald Ammons
affectionally known as mom and pop in addition to a multitude of aunts, uncles and cousins.
