Rosalind Moore Obituary

 The Life Story Of
 Rosalind Moore

Rosalind Moore was born on October 16, 1969 to Gwendolyn Moore and the late Kenneth Taylor in Philadelphia, PA.

> On Tuesday, January 30, 2024 Robin peacefully drifted into eternal rest and joined Jesus Christ in eternity free of pain and suffering. Robin is no longer limited to this earthly vessel. Until the end her faith remained strong and never wavered.  "We are confident,  I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. 2 Corinthians 5:8.
>
> Robin received her formal education in the Philadelphia Public School System graduating from Thomas Edison High School.
>
> Robin had a very long and extensive work history as a Payroll Administrator most recently being employed by United Refrigeration in Philadelphia, PA.
>
> Robin loved all types of music and everyone knew her favorite group of all times was New Edition. Group member Ronnie Devoe was her personal favorite and she instantly became a "Candy Girl" for life. She faithfully attended every concert as if it were her first. She definitely was the ultimate New Edition fan.
>
> Robin was also a devoted and loyal 76ers fan. She not only loved attending games in person, she also loved watching them on tv. She stuck by her favorite basketball team through the season highs and the season lows. Her all time favorite players were Julius "Dr. J" Erving and Allen Iverson.
>
> Robin loved fashion and had an impeccable sense of style. She was quite the fashionista and could put an outfit together from head to toe, including accessories. She was a smart shopper and could always find a great deal. She was also a great interior decorator. She could match the perfect colors to make any room look warm, cozy, expensive and inviting at the same time.
>
> Robin loved entertaining and hosting parties at her house especially "Game Night". She loved spending time with family and friends laughing, eating good food, drinking an ice cold Pepsi (her favorite) and simply having fun.
>
> Robin was an excellent cook and also made delicious homemade desserts. She became an entrepreneur in 2022 when she turned her love of baking into a business called Moore Desserts by Ros. She made a variety of great desserts; Banana Pudding, Cheese Cake, Apple Pie, Peach Cobbler and Strawberry Shortcake just to name a few. The Banana Pudding dessert held a special place in her heart because that recipe was passed down to her by her grandmother the late LucyMae Moore. She was also proud of the fact that she made her own homemade whipped cream (no store bought) and that recipe was shared with her by her son Shawn. Traditional family recipes that have been passed down through generations, allowing us to connect with our ancestors and keep their memory alive. Robin was surely on the path of doing just that...maintaining family traditions.
>
> To truly know Robin was to love her. Robin was strong willed, smart, independent and she most certainly spoke her mind. She was a person who loved to stay busy and she had a broad variety of interests such as watching movies, writing, burning candles and taking nature walks on Kelly Drive.
>
> Robin definitely loved all of her nieces and nephews and they had the same love and admiration for her. However, she had a very special relationship with her nephews Nathaniel and Daniel. Their bond was unique and surpassed any other. She was more like a second mother to them and their lives were enriched because of the unconditional love and guidance she provided.
>
> Nothing brought Robin more joy than her three children Shawn, Shadia and Shakera. She could talk to you for hours about the undying love she had for them. However, when her granddaughter Zailee Rose was born that love was exemplified to infinity. She was her pride, her joy and her heart all rolled into one. Robin often said there was nothing in this world she wouldn't do for her children and her granddaughter. Robin without a doubt lived up to that expectation...actually she exceeded that expectation. All solidified by the pure, kind,  forgiving, nuturing, generous and compassionate LOVE she had for her family!
>
> Robin was preceded in death by her father Kenneth Taylor, her husband Toney Perry and son Taron Grady. Robin is survived by and leaves to mourn her transition her loving mother Gwendolyn Moore; three devoted children Shawn Grady, Shadia Grady and Shakera Grady; granddaughter Zailee Rose; four caring sisters Tamela Moore-Hawkins (James), Yakeeta Worthy,  Michelle Moore and Emanee Moore (whom she loved like her own children) and adoring brother James Owens; Nephews Nathaniel, Daniel and Marlin; Nieces Jessica and Jada; Lifetime Friend Shawn Grady; Best Friends Cheryl Kelly-Jordan and Dawn Johnson; Very Devoted Special Friend Shawn Taylor and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.
>
> We love you, we miss you and for those of us who believe we will surely see you again.
>
> Job well done thou good and faithful servant.
>
> Now take your rest "Queen".
