Whitney Victoria Williams was born in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, on August
21 st 1993 to Josette Phillips. As her family progressed Whitney came under the
care of her father Wendell T. Jones. Whitney was educated in the Upper Darby
School system where she graduated from High School in 2011.
Whitney accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior in 2007 at Enon
Tabernacle Baptist Church where she was baptized. Whitney became a very
independent and God fearing woman as she grew into her own womanhood.
Whitney worked at the Good Will in Lansdowne Pa. Where she was devoted and
dedicated to helping others and encouraging others.
Whitney became a member of the First African Baptist Church under the
leadership of Pastor Dr. Richard A. Dent. It was there where she served as an
usher on the Usher board. Since she loved children, she was committed to the
nursery Ministry, and she helped out periodically with the B.W. Watkins
scholarship ministry. Whitney was a joy of fun and happiness to all of her peer’s.
Whitney loved her family and friends. She was a diehard Eagles fan. She enjoyed
traveling with her family and reading many of books.
Whitney leaves behind and cherish; her mother Josette Phillips. Her father
Wendell Jones. Her grandparents: Susan Penn (Ronnie Penn), and Paula
Moore/Smith. Her siblings: Her brothers; Donyea Phillips, Demetrius Tingle,
Johnathan Williams, Christian Phillips. Her sisters; Jasmine Phillips, Shahira
Phillips, Shanyra Jones, and Kadia Jones. Whitney had three nephews: Cyncere;
Harlem & Krue. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Whitney will be
missed but never forgotten.
